History<\/h2>\n

Founded in 1994, Ing\u00e9nieurs Sans Fronti\u00e8res Qu\u00e9bec (ISFQ)<\/strong> is a non-profit organization that aims to use engineering as a means of international development in communities most vulnerable to social and economic inequalities, residing in countries of the global South.<\/p>\n

Since its foundation, 55 international cooperation projects have been financed, organized and completed in 18 countries. Over 300 engineers and development workers have taken part in these projects over the past 29 years. All these projects have helped more than 80 communities, involving 75 Quebec partners and local organizations.<\/p>\n

Previously managed solely through a board of directors of members directly involved in project implementation, ISFQ now has a permanent team and a fixed headquarters Montreal.<\/p>\n

Mission<\/h2>\n

To improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable communities through sustainable engineering<\/strong>, by uniting the experience of engineers and the willingness to act of Quebec’s next generation of engineers.<\/p>\n
